Spring 2024 revisits Melitta Baumeister’s signature silhouettes through pleats, foam-built volume and new parachute ruching. Shapes rooted in American sportswear extend into draped denim, while snake prints on mesh create a tattoo-like effect. The collection questions the perception that dramatic volume is difficult to wear, reflecting Baumeister’s belief in fashion’s ability to transform how we feel.

Contribution: Supported the design team across 90+ looks through patternmaking, draping and prototype sewing, alongside fabric and trim sourcing in New York’s Garment District.
