Vertigo, Ushatáva’s Research collection for Spring–Summer 2023, begins with the spiral cut: seams and silhouettes that turn around the body. That construction becomes a wider study of repetition, perception and life’s recurring stages, with references to Hitchcock’s visual disorientation. Presented as a digital show, the collection places twisting forms and directional stripes against an environment in motion, bringing the tension between past and present, chaos and order into the clothes and their presentation.

Contribution: Dress silhouette development through draping and calico toiles, translating the creative director’s vision and research into three-dimensional form.
